Drums tonight. boonga boonga boonga tsst tsst tsst..

Works is getting tiring. I want something new to do. Not a new job really, just new jobs here.

Amber said my columns were good! So did Will. Lynn said she hasn't forgotten.

We'll see.

Okay okay.. so you have to hit 'publish.' Gotcha.. Thought I had done that. Guess not.
Not much to report for nobody to read. Still waiting from both Amber and Lynn concerning the columns. Will liked them.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Got a Sun Ultra Enterprise One server from Hickory. It's off the books, so Mike Hill brought it by Friday.. Power supply died in it.. Got one on Ebay for $20. Hope to have it up, formatted and running at home soon. Don't know what I'll do with it.. but...

Almost time to renew dcmt.cc

Don't know why. Nobody looks at that either.

Who's this nobody character?

I hate waiting. I know it's very Zen, but I still hate it.
There is a possibility that I'll be able to write a weekly computer column for the Journal. I've written five 'sample' articles and submitted them.. I finished the fifth a minute ago. I've still heard nothing. Our features editor says they have potential. Says she won't really know until she reads them back to back. Donna likes them.

I've also sent them to a friend of mine, Amber Gillies from the University of Phoenix. I was in a class with her and she works at a paper in California. They might want to use them also.. I'd post one here but that might get me in trouble if the Journal decides to use them. Who knows. I hate waiting.

Fiddlers went very well. I've not posted a thing since then.. but that's okay because nobody reads these anyway.
Donna's birthday was this past Thursday. She closed on her condo the Wednesday before that. She got Cable today and her phone and furniture get hooked up tomorrow.
We've had communication trouble of late, but I believe it's over. We have too much for something as (soon to be) trivial as that to screw things up. We've been through too much that would blast others apart. I do love her so.

Wednesday Morning. Almost ready!

Donna was nervous yesterday, and probably still is today, because of the impending closing on her condo.

I was nervous that she would want to not go because of it.

Aaack. That would not have been fun.

Sabine to Cheaha!

It's Monday afternoon. This Wednesday afternoon Donna and I travel to Anderson, SC, then to Anniston, AL, and then to Athens, AL. for the 36th Annual Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddler's Convention. A convention of Fiddlers. That's not completely accurate. I'll be there. Donna will be there, so not everyone is a fiddler. All my best friends in the world will be there. Having missed last year, this one is very important to me. I miss my friends. I don't want to spend life trying to get life back. Live, dammit!

That's what I'm trying to do, anyway. I own (well, am on my way to owning) a house. I own a dishwasher and a washer (thanks, Jeremy and Melissa) and a dryer (Thanks, Mom and Dad) and a refrigerator (Thanks, previous house owners.. Charles and Amy Crabbe).. And I own three garden hoses. Stuff Stuff stuff... I own a new roof.

Jamie would probably just shake his head.. He bought his house first, though!

In my fifth class at the University of Phoenix. Donna is on the couch, and I'm supposed to be doing homework that was due yesterday. How odd.. Nobody is going to read this anyway.. Back to work on the 300 word thing I didn't do last night. Donna is beautiful

My friend Will Chandler showed me this blogging thing. He has more patience for stuff like this than me.. Let's see what happens..
