There is a conference of Japanese business folks here at the hotel I'm staying at. It is particularly entertaining to see a group of 14 or so of them say goodbye here at the front door. They all bow to each other.... Which is fine, but that many all at once is relatively entertaining to see.

Bowling in Hollywood on a Friday night.
Same 'Lucky Strike Lanes' as in Chicago. Different city of course. And you don't have to tell them how many games you're going to bowl beforehand. Which probably makes them more money... From me anyway. Best game tonight was 120.

Deaf dumb blind kid....
For some strange reason two things have happened. Okay... Three....
1) I'm actually watching baseball at this bowling alley.
2) I actually hope the Cubs win.
3) Pinball Wizard is actually playing where people can hear it.

Corona and Bowling
Bowling makes anything better. No. Really. Anything. I'm sorry to say I'd forgotten that of recent. Okay..... How about a Corona and bowling makes anything better? I think I like that better. Kind of like burping when you didn't know you had to. You didn't feel bad but all of the sudden "Buuiurrrrrrrrp" and you feel better. Bowling does that as far as I'm concerned. James Brown playing while you enjoys Corona on the lanes never hurts...
Soggy Possum Breakdown
The walk was not nearly as bad as I thought otherwise might be. Still a bit soggy around the hoofs.

Rainy Chi Town
Chicago is great until it rains for an entire day and I have to walk 2 miles to get back to the hotel. And it's still raining. I know I could take a cab, and might actually, but that seems to go against something. Not sure what but.....

It's actually windy here tonight. I know that's not why they call it the windy city but...... There's something comforting about it. A real downtown with people out past 11:00 brings a certain peace to a visitor.
